Micro-CT Imaging
Microcomputed tomography (micro-CT) allows for nondestructive 3D imaging and quantification of microstructural morphology at high resolutions. The Guldberg Lab collaborates with internal and external researchers who seek to utilize micro-CT imaging in their research foci. Some of these areas include skeletal phenotyping of transgenic animals, quantifying solid and pore morphology in biomaterials, skeletal development in various species, vascular remodeling, contrast-enhanced cartilage imaging, development of 3D models of biomedical devices and other materials, assessing bone repair in fracture or defect models.
