Musculoskeletal Injury

Effective therapies that restore function following composite tissue injury to bone, muscle, blood vessels, and nerves are an unmet clinical need. In order to investigate novel technologies enabling restoration of limb function following composite tissue trauma, it will first be necessary to establish and characterize representative models of severe limb trauma. Our lab is currently focused on bone/nerve, bone/vasculature, and bone/muscle composite injuries in the rat model.
